Stephen has over twenty years of architectural experience, coupled with 15 years of experience in facilities management in the University arena. He possesses an in-depth knowledge of building systems and a unique perspective on store planning and development. Having taught Sustainable Design and Sustainable Development at the University of Houston for more than 13 years, he also lectures for various other educational programs. Stephen is registered as an architect in Texas.
Director of Architecture
Scott has more than 27 years of architectural experience in the design, development, and construction of a wide variety of building types, that run the gamut including shopping centers, commercial retail, charter schools, fitness centers, restaurant, food store, hospitality, and hi-rise design. Scott joined the firm in 1993 and brings an informed approach to managing the architecture division for all of HVA's offices as well as managing his Studio in the Houston office. He maintains a high standard of quality and efficiency for the entire production team. Scott is NCARB certified and is registered in a number of states.
Dallas Office Director, Sr. Project Manager
Robert has more than 27 years of architectural experience. His knowledge of all phases of project design and development encompasses many project types including commercial retail, fitness centers, charter schools, medical office buildings, banking, historic preservation, custom residential, and food stores. As Senior Project Manager, Robert manages the Dallas architectural studio while also directing the Dallas office as the Dallas office Director. Robert is a registered architect, NCARB certified, and licensed in many states across the nation.
Business Development and Design
Blake is responsible for New Business Development and Client Relations and continues his involvement throughout the entire development of projects. Blake brings his 30 years of project management, store planning and space-planning experience assist our clients in establishing and developing new concept design, and keeping his client's project delivery on track. Blake's intimate knowledge of food store operations and equipment provides a valuable specialized perspective to understand and meet our clients' food store, and restaurant design needs.
